Common faults and maintenance skills of door and window anti-fall chains:

- Chain jamming: Mostly caused by dust accumulation or rust. First, clean the surface of the chain, then drop in lubricating oil, and pull the chain repeatedly until it is smooth; if it still jams, check for deformation. Slight deformation can be corrected manually, and severe deformation requires chain replacement.

- Loose or falling screws: Find screws of the same specification (stainless steel is recommended) and tighten them again. If the screw hole is worn and enlarged, fill a small amount of wooden wedge (for wooden doors and windows) or expansion pipe (for metal doors and windows) into the hole, then screw in the screw to enhance fixation.

- Chain breakage: If the breakage is in the middle of the chain, it cannot be repaired, and the anti-fall chain needs to be replaced as a whole; if the breakage is at the connecting end (the part fixed to the door/window), check whether the connecting piece is intact. If the connecting piece is normal, replace the chain.

- Deformation of connecting piece: Slight deformation can be corrected with pliers to restore the original shape; severe deformation (such as cracks) requires replacement of the connecting piece to avoid breaking under force.
