The national standards and industry specifications for door and window anti-fall chains

At present, the relevant standards for door and window anti-fall chains mainly refer to:

- "Building Door and Window Hardware - Stay Bars" (JG/T 126-2021): Although it mainly targets stay bars, it has indirect requirements for the load-bearing, material, durability, etc. of anti-fall chains, stipulating that the static load-bearing capacity of hardware should not be less than 50N (about 5 kg, and anti-fall chains need to be much higher than this).

- "Code for Fire Protection Design of High-Rise Civil Buildings": It requires that high-rise doors and windows must have certain wind pressure resistance and safety protection capabilities, which indirectly promotes the installation specifications of anti-fall chains.

- Industry default standards: Qualified anti-fall chains must pass salt spray test (no obvious rust after 48 hours of neutral salt spray test), load-bearing test (no deformation after static load-bearing of 50 kg for 1 hour), and fatigue test (no failure after repeated pulling for more than 5,000 times).

When purchasing, you can check the product inspection report to confirm that it meets the above relevant requirements, and avoid choosing inferior products without standards.
